While Lightroom is running fine on my Vista Home Premium machine along with CS4, I notice that often when I quit LR I get a Windows message that the app has crashed....
When I click on details it shows the following:

Not sure how much to be worried about this, but I'd like to get to the bottom of it. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Thanks, that link didn't work at U2U, either that or Adobe's forum is down....they've been messing with their systems all week out there. I'll try it later.

Thanks!

Phil

When clicking the link I get ' The specified thread was not found. ' so I think link may be wrong.

It should be

That link has to do with exporting images. I can make LR crash at will if I export too many images to Smugmug. But, Phil's problem occurs when he quits the application. Totally different situation.
By the way, for those who are too embarrass to ask: U2U stands for user to user. I had to ask last week.

I had the same error from time to time when quitting LR, also with 2.3, and absolutly un-reproducible. I would say from 1' quit's I got on about 1-2 this error.

what helped so far for me (no more error since several weeks) was to switch off the data execution prevention in vista for LR.

Oops, I forgot to mention that I have Vista 32 but I do not have any issues when closing the application.

Thanks but DEP is already set to only 'essential windows programs and services'
