Hi folks. I hope this has been dealt with before. I have the latest versions of LR Classic and Photoshop and I'm on the latest Mac OS. Forever, I've been able to right click on an image, choose edit in photoshop and get a dialog box asking if I want to edit original, a copy with LR settings, etc. Well, currently when I right click an image, choose edit in photoshop, I no longer get the dialog box and my RAW image goes straight to Photoshop. So now when I save the photoshop file (tiff), of course, it's not automatically added to my catalog.

Why am I not getting the dialog box with upon export to Photoshop?

You simply don’t remember this correctly. You never get this box when you send a raw file, because there would be nothing to choose. You only get it when you send an RGB file. This has been like that for ages.

Your tiff will get saved to Lightroom. Just use ‘save’ in Photoshop, not ‘save as’.
