Since I went to "Classic", importing files is an adventure where, as often as not, LR completely crashes as it begins the import. In just a week, I've wasted a lot of time restarting LR and re-entering file names and keywords.
Kinda gives me a bad taste for "Classic:..

I am also having a problem importing images. Lightroom CC is hanging after importing 67 of 189 images from my Nikon D600. 2 new folders were created, photos were imported into each of them, but it is now hanging. Any help or advice including the location of any error log, would be useful.

Hi Resoman and David, sorry we missed you. That does sound very frustrating. Can we get you to post it at the Official Feature Request/Bug Report Forum at Photoshop Family Customer Community if you haven't already.

I have the same problem and a possible work around. Happens on MacBook Pro and Mac Mini. I always copy the card directly to a folder on the hard drive where it will reside. I import from this folder using Add with "minimal" previews - no smart previews or import adjustments. Normally after selecting the folder, I could immediately hit import. Doing so crashes the program every time. What seems to work, at least 9 times out of 10, is to allow EVERY thumbnail to populate. Yeah, its slow but at least I can get images into LR where I can rename or whatever without further problems. Remember to scroll the entire image stack to make sure EVERY thumbnail is drawn. Hopefully that helps at least get images to the catalog.

Good to know, thanks for sharing Tom! And welcome to the forum!
