Develop module LR Classic 13 freezes when using masks

Hi there,
I updated LR Classic to v13.0 yesterday and checked some of the new stuff. So far everything works except masks. Each time, when I hit the masks button, LR freezes. Same thing after restart LR again and again. Does someone else experience the same behavior? Not sure, if I just did something wrong or de-just, but I cannot imagine, what it could be.

Thanks for the link! He decribes exactely the same problem I have. There was a solution (in German), but unfortunately it doesn't work for me. I extended the side panel to the max, but it doesn't change the mask issue.

Yes, I see the same problem: on FIRST use of the masking tool, LR Classic freezes (it did that even with version 12.x). I need to go into the Windows Task Manager and end the LR task. Start LR again, and now on the second time no problems anymore. Very strange.
