LR changing colors/exposure of thumbnails

I know this is a common complaint and Adobe really needs to change this. I absolutely HATE how LR takes my perfect looking RAW images and decides to read the file and reinterpret the exposure, contrast, and color. I think I have to adjust each image. How do you turn this off or keep the camera preset. I'm using a Canon 3'D.

Three choices:

Shoot JPEG
Use Canon's DPP
Create LR Develop presets to match your taste
