If I connect my Realme 6 phone (Android) to my PC in order to download some images into LR, LR will hang at various stages and eventually I get the send crash report message. Sometimes it will just hang when opening and at other times it will start and I can go to the Import dialog select my phone and then it will hang. If the latter case then the Catalog gets locked and I can't restart without powering down my PC.

This has only just started to happen in the last week or so. Prior to that I could do this with no problem.

Any thoughts.

I think I will have to post this problem directly to Adobe as well.

Thanks

Can you try a different connection cable? That can often be a cause of similar issues.

Thanks for the reply. Not a cable problem but a search of the internet reveals that this is a known problem and has been reported to Adobe many months/years ago. No fix yet
