Hi All - its been quite some time! Hope all going OK in this strange time. I'm currently making a photobook using the blurb based Book Module in Lr Classic 9.2.1. Have made several over the last few years but I usually use the same text fonts throughout. This time I want to try a few different text fonts. Now can anyone please advise if there is a way of previewing the various text fonts available in this module (or preferably is there a pictorial list of some sort) so I don't need to try them all out one at a time until I get to the font that's "right" for the book? I'm particularly after a font that looks like handwriting or art deco print so I can write the word 'Noir" in the book's title on the cover page. Thanks heaps. Cheers Tim

There should be a 'Font Book' app in your Applications folder (AFAIK, it's part of the Mac system software). That allows you to preview fonts.

If you're using a Windows 10 PC, you can view font previews in settings. Open Windows settings and search for Fonts.
You'll get a window like this:

Unfortunately, it doesn't allow you to type in your own text. If you want to do that, the best thing is to open Photoshop, create some text there and then play with the fonts to see what you like.

After you create the text, select it all and then, as you hover over the different fonts, your text will change. You don't even have to click. It's also a good place to try different colors.

To hide the selection highlight so that you can see the text properly, use the keyboard shortcut, CTRL+H.

Here's a refinement of my idea above for using Photoshop to preview fonts. You don't have to select the text in order to see what it looks like with different fonts. Simply make sure the text LAYER is selected. Then hover your way through the font list.
