Hi,

I just downloaded LRB3 and on startup it started to import images from LR2. How do I stop the import so I can just import 1 image at a time to test and not mess with my image files in LR2.5? This import would not remove the files I have in LR2.5 would it?

Also... am I correct in thinking that LR 3 will not run on Tiger?

It will "remove" nothing from your LR2 catalog AND won't run on non Intel machines.

It is strongly suggested that you do not work on the same originals that you use in LR2 but only on new ones or copies!

Running on an Intel MacPro and it would not load on my Tiger startup disk but did load on the Leopard.

That's the point... I don't want it to load anything from my working LR2.5... Can't figure out how to stop it from trying an import on startup...

It shouldn't be touching your LR2 catalog - it doesn't know how. It sounds like possibly it's open with the import dialog showing the pictures directory?
