LR adjustment brush and Blue Screen crash

Doing some rather heavy and fast exposure adjustments using the brush, when my computer crashed with a blue screen.

This was the report.

KB96'884 Stop error when plugging in 1394 disks

"On a computer that is running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2''8, you have two IEEE 1394a hard disks connected. If you repeatedly unplug and re-plug one of the 1394a hard disks, the other 1394a hard disk becomes inaccessible. Then, you receive a Stop error that resembles the following:

This issue occurs because of a race condition in the sbp2port.sys driver"

Now, it suggests a hotfix, but only if my computer had exactly this problem. I was running Lrcat from internal C drive with images on External F drive, via an eSata connection. A flash card was attached via firwire 4''.

Hmmm. Haven't heard of that one before, either Lr related or not. I'm sure you know already, but repeating for interested readers, 1394 is the international serial bus engineering standard, more popularly known by Apple's tradename Firewire.

Since you appear to only have one firewire device attached, I'm not sure how you'd have a conflict between two such devices. Like most BSOD's, I presume you just reboot and do what ever you Ozzy's do for a good luck charm.

That's summs it up Brad.

I have no clue, so will pretend it didn;t happen, unless of course i have re-creation of events.
