After several Months of using LR 2, I'm moving it to the trash can and installing PE 8 tonight. I had PE 7 on my PC and like using it. After using PC computers for 28 years, I moved to a Macbook. Since I couldn't use PE 7 on a Mac and thought it would be a good time to move to LR.
I thought it was just me, but talked to a dozen locale Photogs and they gave it up also.
LR 2 is not hard to use, it just doesn't think the way I think.
I'm not a pro, so I will not have a million images. I like to store, Raw, Jpeg and a small resized Jpeg for the web in the same category . I cannot resize a photo for the web in LR 2 without exporting it, etc and if I forget to import a photo that I just processed in a HDR program, LR 2 don't know where its at. If I move the curser over an image, LR don't tell me what size it is, so I don't know if its been resized, etc
Don't get me or this post wrong, LR 2 is a great program. I'm posting this message just to point out, its not for everyone.
I use CS4 for processing.
