Hello,
I`m getting a "corrupted catalog" window when I try to backup my catalog.
When I click the "repair" after few minutes is always able to repair it and then to backup.
But if I try to backup again, I get the same warning about the corrupted catalog.
I do I fix the catalog so that I don`t have to go through a REPAIR cycle every time?
Also I just bought a new mac and I need to copy a good LR catalog in the new computer and I don`t want to "transfer" anything corrupted in a new system.

Thanks to all the gurus listening.....

Once you have repaired the the catalogue try opening the backup version instead. If that is ok then you can copy that and replace the original catalogue. (I would copy the original somewhere else first so you still have a copy of it in case something is wrong / missing from the backup) Then test the backup again and see if it still complains about corruptions.

Moving a corrupt catalog to the Mac will not cause any corruption in your system. So, why not try it on the Mac and see if it resolve the problem? In this case, that can be an hardware problem with your old system. Nothing to loose for a trial. If it is still going mad on the Mac, you can just delete the .lrcat from it and the Mac will be as brand new. Then come back so we can look at other options...
