Hi,

today I used LR 2.2 for the first time on a bigger collection, with much switching between the modules. Suddenly, I think when I returned from develop to library, no picture was showed. Instead a quite funny error message showed up. Look at the red words in the lower left corner. Have you ever seen this? Am I too now a victim of the memory bug in LR 2.2?
I closed and restarted LR and everything was fine for the rest of the work.

Yeah, Thomas, we've seen it. It was mostly eradicated back around 1.3, although it still turns up for some users. Apparently, reports have increased with 2.2. Yes, as you say it's a bug associated with memory issues, and only on Windows.

Hi Al, welcome to the forum!

I think you can rest assured that Adobe will be onto this one as soon as they possibly can. In the meantime, you might want to revert to 2.1 if you're having problems with 2.2.

Your catalog should be entirely untouched by the upgrade - it's only 1.' to 1.x, and 1.x to 2.' that did anything to the catalog format.

To be on the safe side, duplicate your catalog file as a backup, and uninstall 2.2 before reinstalling 2.1.

Yep, I've been seeing the same error every day. Do you have PS CS4 or Bridge CS4 active at the same time as LR 2.2 ? That seems to make a difference, although a reboot, and closing Bridge, is sometimes required to get rid of the error. I experience very sluggish performance when printing also.
