Hi there,

I'm writing for 2 reasons: first, to let readers know about an issue that I've been running into with the Adjustment Brush tool since upgrading to v. 2.2 a day ago: The adjustment pins are AWOL! The adjustment pin(s), which should show in areas where previous work with the adj. brush has been made (when the tool is active), have simply disappeared. To be more precise, they're refusing to come to work in the first place.

Naturally, this makes further changes to a particular area that has already been 'adjusted' difficult or impossible without creating another adjustment mask on top of the old one. (FWIW, the pins I'm talking about are the small round objects that - when hovering the cursor over one - displays a coloured mask (usually red in my case) of the area that will be affected by adjustments.) Has anyone else run into this issue? I have tried reinstalling LR 2.2 to no effect.

Secondly, it has been suggested on at least one other thread that users affected by v. 2.2 problems should temporarily downgrade to v. 2.1 until the 2.2 issues have been resolved. Can someone point me in the right direction as to where I can download v. 2.1? I no longer have the install set. Also, no luck on the Adobe site since all the links to older versions that I've found inevitably end up on the download page for v. 2.2.

Thanks very much!

Geoff-- Thanks for the kind welcome and patient answer... that did the trick. I must have hit W at one point...
Cheers,
Jens

PS-- Out of curiosity, can one find a copy of LR 2.1 anywhere?

Ha ha, that's got a few !!
Victoria may have a Windows d/load of 2.1, I have only Mac.
Can you take a moment to fill in your signature with info similar to mine, equipment wise, it helps us help you !! - thanks.
Which part of the globe are you from Jens?? Scandanavia ??

I've got a copy of the 32-bit 2.1 Windows, if anyone needs it. I'll post the link up in a mo.

It seems the 2.1 link on the Adobe website is currently downloading the 2.2 version, which is very weird, and no one has any idea why!

Hi everyone,

I had this problem as well and went to the thread suggested by Geoff and that answer sorted me out to - was wondering where the pins had gone!!

Geoff-
Sorry for the late reply, I haven't been back here since you and Victoria helped me out. To answer your question: I'm actually a Canuck from Edmonton, Alberta... my folks are German though, ergo the name!

Updating my signature now...
