As per title, the Metadata Painter tool does not work in LR ver1.4. Following recommendations and owing to other bugs in this version, I have now reverted to vers. 1.3.1 and the bug disappears.

29 September 2026 It's Lightroom update time again. There are some minor features, as well as bug fixes, new cameras and lenses.
