Too much coffee and not paying attention I created a problem that I cannot solve. When importing images from a CD to LR, LR moves those images to "another" 4TB Hard Drive - see screen shot , which is not the 4TB Hard where all of my images are. LR has lost the "path" for where these imported images need to go which it my main 4TB HD which has all of my photos. All of my photos are on external HD's, only my LR Catalog is on the iMac. Even re-booting to earlier LR catalogs does not solve the problem.
Probably there has been a previous answer to my issue but have not found it on LRQ.
Thank you... frustrated!

Why do you have two volumes listed in the Folder panel with the same name? Are these two distinct volumes or is Lightroom showing the same volume mounted twice?
In the folder panel right click on the folder labeled "2007 - Italy Bike Trip". and choose "Find Missing Folder..." from the context menu, A Finder window should open with the last known parent folder. What is this telling you? In Finder, click on the "GetInfo" for this folder to find and report the path back in yout reply.

Your screenshot shows only the left panel of the import dialog. That's the source. You choose the destination in the right panel of the dialog.
The screen shot is the Folder panel in Classic showing question marks for missing folders and Green icons for mounted volumes

Thank you....
I only have ONE 4TB HD. My Import gors to that one 4TB HD -see image.
I do not know why LR is showing TWO HD's. I am not too worried about the images to import since they rest on an external CD...so, i have deleted that "Italy Bike Ride" file i order to start the Import over agin and check my proble. So, those questions marks get resolved - and I try a fresh Import - all to no avail. LR is creating that second 4TB HD

Both 4TB Folders show Green
Sorry for my lack of clarity- another screen shot of the same issue, just different Import Folder.
