Lost FTP details when upgrading LR

I just upgraded LR to 1.31 but when I tried to upload a web gallery, the settings had all been lost inc. presets.

It was also asking me for a password which I dont remember having to use before.

Can I get back these details from anywhere? I'm on a PC running XPsp3
Failing that can I uninstall the upgrade, or anything else.?
I have to send something pronto so any help would be gratefully received!

All file transfers that use the FTP protocol whether initiated bt LR or another FTP client, require a login and password. This is information that should have been provided by the FTP server host for the web gallery. If you don't have this information, you will need to contact the host provider. On non secure FTP sites there is a default login that is generic but not often established by the host. That user name is 'anomyous' and the password is your email address. As a last ditch effort before contacting the host provider you can try using the anomyous login.

Where did you obtain this 1.31 version? A normal upgrade should not give that version number...

1.3.1 - yes, that was one of the official updates (there was a problem with 1.3) although I'd suggest updating to 1.4.1.

That said, I believe those details would be stored in the preferences file. It would be unusual for those to disappear as a result of an update. 1.3.1's rather a long time ago, and I can't remember what changed offhand.

Do you still have your FTP details for your webspace? Re-entering them would be the quickest and easiest solution.
