Lost External editor

I added NeatImage as an alternative external editor, but seem to lost Photoshop as the primary external editor - in preferences there is a blue message: "Photoshop not found".

I can change the alternative external editor to PS and it works fine - can't seem to have both (external & alternative external).

Suggestions?

Did you recently un-install a previous version of PS after installing your current version? That seems to be the main cause of this problem because the un-install removes a registry key Lightroom looks for. If so, there is a registry hack if you are comfortable with regedit although the easiest way is to un-install and re-install PS.

Yes, I originally purchased PS 7 then followed the upgrade path to CS2 and CS3 - landed with an installation of each so I removed PS and CS2.

I'll apply the registry hack...

BTW - I inadvertently double posted my OP - how does one obtain delete privileges?
