Lost CR2 file

[I Simonius]

I have a pic I took fairly recently so I know I havent trashed it but it's dissapeared as far as LR is concerned

It shows in the library but cannot be found on disk nor via search in the finder or browsing

no chance LR has done something weird to it is there?

It's more often the user who's done something weird to it Simon.....

If it shows up the library, try going to the Metadata panel and clicking the little arrow next to the folder name. That'll take you to the folder where LR thinks it *should* be. Then go look there.

If it's still in LR's catalog, that would suggest someone's tidied up outside.

Knowing me - almost certainly - Im sure there's a syndrome going on here - it only happens when Im on a compooter - I completely lose track of what Im doing - often!
