How did you move your images to the new catalog ?

Collections are only stored in the catalog not in the XMP.

If you want to create a new catalog that contains all your images then select all images (open stacks first) in the grid view. Then use the export to catalog command.

Go back to your old catalog Brad, it was only a test run. If we have to transfer you to a new catalog, we'll talk you through in more detail so you don't lose anything important.
