I believe this has been discussed before, but it may have been at the Adobe Forums. I couldn't find a discussion here, so here goes...
I have Lightroom set to auto-write metadata changes. When entering metadata, Lightroom often steals focus away from the text box I am editing. This results in my typing translated into keystrokes, causing havoc. While this happens when entering text into a single field, it is worse, and more frequent, when hitting tab to move to the next field. Say I am entering "Atlanta" for the city, and "Georgia" for the state. I enter "Atlanta" and hit tab, then I type "G" for Georgia and Lightroom kicks in saving metadata and steals focus. So, I end up with "G" in the state field and Lightroom interprets "E" as the keystroke "E" and acts accordingly... meaning that everything goes all wonky. :?
Very frustrating. I thought this was fixed with 1.3 or 1.3.1, and maybe it was when auto-write is off, but it seems to be present when auto-write is on. Anyone have any thoughts?
