Lockup When Trying to Select Folder For Export

I've found a strange problem which may be unique to our network or may be a bug. When I go to select an export location on the network, the Explorer window displaying the network folders locks up and I can't do anything for a couple of minutes after which, everything works fine. I can browse to any folder without a problem. If I cancel the export and immediately try to select a folder again, the same thing happens. It seems to hang when it sees a computer on the network.

No, I'm not seeing this on my home (Windows Workgroup, not a domain) network. I can navigate to network shares as quickly as drives on the local machine.

That export directory browse in LR has always annoyed me as being too slow, though it's probably Windows fault. I've lobbied for quite a while for an 'export back into source directory' option, so you don't have to fool with that export directory browser every darn time, but apparently that's not good workflow practice or something.
