I remember reading somewhere that there was a way to set up grid view so that it doesn't cut thumbnails on the monitor but only shows full rows--but of course I can't find where I saw the shortcut. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Cheers,
Michelle

How are you managing to get it to cut thumbnails? It should resize the thumbnails to fit the space available. Do you know how to post a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Well, the top and or bottom rows can get cropped in Grid view if the FIlter and Toolbars are open. Close Filters by toggling '\' and the Toolbar with 't'.

Ah, good point!

I was just wondering whether there is a way to lock the grid like you can with Bridge. I do remove the upper and lower info areas to make the biggest window possible--generally so that I can get two full rows of large thumbnails, but it always takes some jockeying.....So no way to lock everything in as a workspace?

Cheers,

Michelle

[/quote]Maybe it's how Windows windows work. But no such problem on a Mac, that I can see.
