Lock 35mm aspect ratio when cropping

Hi!
I thought clicking the lock button in the develop module crop function would maintain 35 mm aspect ration while cropping but it slips. I tried shift, and other FN keys but none lock the aspect ratio? Any thoughts?

Yes, if the lock looks closed, then the aspect ratio should be preserved whether you drag an edge or a corner. Are you saying that clicking the lock doesn't change the appearance of the lock, or the lock changes appearance but the behavior doesn't change?

Yes. I am saying that. Clicking the lock doesn't make the aspect ration stick. ???
