When you have made all the adjustments (both localized and global) to an image and then go to the next image and click on previous, do both the localized and global adjustments then transfer to that new image or just the global? Is the program smart enough to see that the animal (for example) is basically in the same place only maybe just changed head position or something?

Ernie,

From my experiments, it looks as if 'Previous' will only transfer the Local adjustments
Crop/Straighten
Heal/Clone Dust spot
Red-eyes (maybe)

It won't transfer the new Gradient or Brush local adjustments.

However;
Copy Settings (ctrl-shift-C) Develop menu > Settings > Copy settings .... ; and
Paste Settings (ctrl-shift-V) Develop menu > Settings > Paste settings

will transfer all of the localized adjustments, if you enable them in the dialog box.

As far as moving heads, I don't think LR's that smart yet.

Thanks Brad. I'll experiment with copy/paste. I didn't really see how it could be that smart, but... Maybe by V 6???
