Hi,
I'm using the latest version, but even in the last one,I've noticed that when using the brush tool etc in masking,it's applying the changes globally at the same time, perhaps I accidentally clicked on a ""hidden" button? Is there a way to separate the local and global adjustments from each other please? As an example;when I want to darken a background using that mask,it darkens the whole image instead.
I shoot events for a local agency, and have hundreds of images to edit each time, so having the adjustments doing local and globally at the same time is becoming a pain.Could anyone please tell me how i can separate those two things,it's only recently it's been doing it,before that it was working just fine.
I had this happen a few years ago,but can't remember the solution to it.Thanks

This is usually caused by the mask panel being collapsed, so while you think you are using the mask sliders, you are actually using the global sliders.

Maybe you should post a screenshot? As said, a complaint that mask adjustments lead to global changes is almost always a matter of using the wrong sliders. I do not think I have ever seen a different explanation, nor a bug report.
