It seem that both in preview message and sent message, using ordered or unordered lists makes no difference. They both show up as unordered lists...

Dang... you're right. I just tried and I see what you mean. May be an RC bug. Let me check for a later version of SMF.

This time, I saw the numbers in the Preview window but still not once the message is sent to the forum...

When I first reported, I was on Windows/Explorer. Now I am on Mac/Firefox...

Maybe I am writing while you are fixing? :
