I would like a way to link bracketed exposures so they can be moved etc as one- - so when I have lots of shots that are bracketed I don't have to keep reminding myself which bracket belongs to which shot especially when the composition angles are very similar

I use stacks for that purpose, among others. Close the stacks when I'm not working on the individual photos, open the stack when I am.

sounds intersting - how does one use 'stacks'?

Highlight the images that you want to be in a single stack and hit Ctrl-g. Or, go to the menu, Photo/Stacking. Once you've created a stack, you can then open or close the stack, or open or close all stacks. I find it very useful for sets of images created by bracketing, panorama sets, etc. Just another way to keep track of which images go together. You can also select which photo gets shown when the stack is closed by selecting a photo to be on top of the stack w/ a right-click.

That would be Cmd-G on Simon's Mac.
