Linear Tone-Curve After PS

When images are re-opened in LR after doing adjustments in PS, I notice the Tone-Cuve goes to Linear. While I can tweek it by eye - is it ok to leave it as Linear? (Maybe I'm getting confused with Linear GAMMA... )

Is the message here - "this is all the adjustments to date, and further changes will be IN ADDITION to what has been done"? :roll:

Yes it is ok and perfectly normal.

Quite right. The photo has already had a curve applied to the raw data, so you don't need an additional curve unless you want it.
