Lightroom won't export changes

I have just downloaded some free pre-sets from Lightroom Exchange and tried them out, when I exported, the file went through with-out the changes made in LR, tried LR pre-sets same thing happened (XP sp3). Any help would be very much appreciated

Now to your issue. Do you have auto-write to xmp turned on in Catalog Settings>Metadata ? If not you will need to select all in the library/grid view and cmd or crtl-s to save changes made to your files. By the way are they raw or jpeg files?

Welcome, In addition to Geoff's requests, can you tell us a little more about the exact steps you took, a) applying the presets, and b) exporting?

Hi wotdafa, welcome to the forum!

Also double check the file format you have it set to export to - original won't apply any LR adjustments, but all of the others should. Also, don't forget that exporting exports to a different location - not over the top of the originals.
