Again, this may or may not be relevant to other Lightroom versions, but if Adobe is reading this forum, then it may be missed if put in a general section. The web gallery tool in Lightroom 2 is great, but it has some frustrating features as well. The biggest that I’ve come across is that it limits the number of characters that can be used in many of the user updateable fields.
The worst is that for the Collection Description. You can only fit in around 13' characters before it automatically truncates what you’ve entered. I’ve tried every conceivable way to add extra words, even using Macromedia Dreamweaver to add more, but the changes just don’t take. The other thing that you can’t add is hyperlinks to the same area, where it’s useful to redirect viewers to more detailed pages or related pages.
I’m either doing something wrong or this is an oddball restriction?
