3.1. Lightroom backups of the Catalog are made on the same drive as your Catalog by default. Change the location to another drive or they will be useless in case of an hard drive failure.
11. Clicking the thumbnail image or the frame around it are two different things!
12. Lightroom's filters are remembered for each folder. When you come back to an old folder and think photos are missing, remember that a filter may still be active in this folder.

8.1 (clarification) If you want to apply changes to several images at the same time, you have to select them in the main window grid. If you select them in either the filmstrip or the secondary window grid, your changes will only be applied to the most selected image.

13. If you are using LR on two computers, don't 'export as catalog' a collection and import it on a second machine which already has copies of any of the images in the collection; any information you have applied to those images on the second machine will be wiped out when you import the 'collection', unless you chose 'preserve as a copy'.
