When I move an edited image from Lightroom to Photoshop, the process seems abnormally slow. I'm using the Edit In command from Lightroom to Photoshop 2020. A sample image I timed at 61 seconds with Photoshop already open. The image is not abnormally large - a full size image from a Nikon Z6 which is 24 megapixels. When it opens in Photoshop, the image looks to incorporate the LR edits, but does show up as a NEF file rather than a TIF. The test image did have some local adjustments with a good deal of brush work, but nothing that unusual.
I'm using the latest versions of Lightroom Classic and Photoshop on a Windows laptop. The laptop is running the latest update of Win 10 and has 16 MB of RAM.
Any ideas?
