Lightroom + Photoshop Elements 6 combo - recommended?

I use Lightroom in my MacBook Pro for most of my editing. Adobe has now released PSE 6 for Mac.

Is this a good combination?
Will it work the same way as CS3 regarding editing photoes (sending photo to CS3 for local editing and then back to Lightroom - changes updated automatically)?

Since no one has answered yet... I'm on a pc, not mac, but I'm sure it would work the same in that regard.I use LR and Elements 5 and It's all I need, and then some. Elements is excellent fo general photo editing. It will do 9'% of what full PS will do. It may take a few extra steps at times, but for under $1'', it's a bargain.

I'm on a PC as well, but I find the combination of LR, PSE 6 and the Nik Filters to be an amazing combination that meets all of my needs.

Well I'm using a 24" iMac with Lightroom and Elements 6 and both run together no problem. Files are transferred between them just as they do in Lightroom and CS2

I think the biggest thing you would be giving up (Elements v. CS3) is the ability to batch process using actions and droplets for multiple images. If that's not a concern, then I think Elements would have you covered.
