Lightroom is underexposing my photography

Hi everyone, I'm not sure if this topic has been discussed before - I can assume it has been. Please forgive me in advance.

Using: Lightroom 2.6 & Camera Raw 5.6

Problem experienced:
After the 'Rendering Preview..." is completed, the image is altered from the proper exposure to a slightly darker more underexposed image.

I use the Canon 5D Mark II, and I notice this effect on images shot in the following mode: Raw + Large Fine resolution.

Any reason why this is happening?
