I seem to be having a problems with Lightroom that has only gotten worse. I have tried 3 different computers and it seems to be doing this to the photos when I import them.

I read the "Why is LR ruining my photos" post, but I am still a little lost as to why its doing it. When I first got my Canon xsi last xmas I wasn't having this problem....but as time progressed it seems to be getting worse and now about every photo gets messed up.

Here is a what its doing to the photos.

Is only LR messing up the pics? What about DPP?

Are you refering to another RAW viewer? If you point me in the right direction I can try whatever you want. I'm pretty desperate as there are pictures from my best friends wedding and pictures of my newborn son that are pretty much gone as of now.

I just tried a couple other free raw viewers and editors and I'm getting the same result.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Lava, that's a classic symptom of a corrupt file. That file has been damaged somehow. You could have a flash card, card reader, cable, or hard-drive going south. Try changing each step of the chain, and see if the situation improves.

Yes, I mean another RAW converter, especially Canon's Digital Photo Professional which is bundled for free with the cameras.
If DPP shows the same result, you should thy to copy the pics from the CF card with another card reader.
In the worst case the camera itself is damaged. Try it with another CF card.
