Lightroom Error Msg

Lately I have been getting this error msg ?:0: compare number with nil. I gotten this message on exporting, deleting a photo from a collection and when I try to use the show focus point plug- in. Is anyone else getting this message or know how to correct it. I'm running LR 5.7 on iMac OSX 10.10

I have a similar problem. Getting that message when I try to Export images. Also, all my Edit In options are grayed out, and Publish Services has stopped working also. All this happened after a Catalog corruption, but switching to a backup version does not help (and I don't see how it would since the Catalog doesn't keep that information).

Not that I've solved the problem, but I have narrowed it down to a User Account issue. Running LR from another account is fine.

If the same catalog works, but using an alternate user account points to a corrupted user preferences.

In the search bar above, you cane search for delete user preferences.

It is not the LR .plist file that is the problem. It seems to be something else associated with that user account.

We have a monthly CC subscription and also own the standalone version of LR.
