Lightroom creates everytime 2 copies of a photo I export without any obvious reason

Hello good morning
Without any obvious reason Lightroom Classic cc ( version updated last week 8.0 , camera raw 11.0) creates a second copy of any picture I export.
I really don’t understand why?
Has anybody esle had this problem recently?

Good morning Dan,
Not sure I understood your question. But when exporting the file is in JPEG format ( tried both to keep original name and changing the name, makes no difference) and lightroom creates a copy exactly as I named it and a “ .2” version.

Alexander, I have no clue why or how LR is doing this. I can find no way to get it to create two copies of an export at the same time.
Are you 100% sure you are exporting to an empty folder that doesn't already contain previous copies?

Yes Dan I am sure.....a complete mystery .....hopefully a future upgrade resolves the problem....

Could you post a screenshot of the export settings dialogue that you are using when this problem occurs?
