I Have a Mac computer and Lightroom1.4.1

There are 1' photos that I imported today. Lightroom crashed everytime I endeavoured to open this particular folder. These photos are obviously causing Lightroom to crash. I now wish to export to my desktop or delete them.

I then tried to choose the folder, and run as an Export. However this has become an impossible task as everytime I go near the folder with my cursor to isolate this folder to export, Lightroom crashes.

Be very grateful for a suggestion. Another silly thing I just did was loose the folders sidebar i.e photographs are there but the folders lineup have been hidden.

thanks

Sue

There should be no need to export the images in order to save them from the current situation. Go directly to their location on your hard drive, move them to a new folder.
Then delete the original folder. Launch Lightroom and you should see that the folder in question is red.
Now try to delete it. Then re import the images that are in the new folder you created.

As for the losing of the Folders sidebar. Is it possible that you have simply closed the disclosure triangle or even hidden the entire panel?
