Lightroom combined retail box Mac/WIN?

I'll have to order a copy of Lightroom some time soon (see my sig) and have the following question.

Am I right that there is only one kind of Lightroom sold in a combined-box that contains the software for both the Mac and Windows? As opposed to two separate packages, one Mac, one Windows.

Just don't want to end up with the wrong thing.

That's right Joerg. Or you can buy it by download if that's easier.

And the advantage of getting both is that you are allowed to install one copy to your desktop and the other to your laptop for example. If you have a Mac desktop and a PC laptop (or vice versa), then you are in business!

I see LR 1.' advertised as a boxed product, but nowhere 1.3.1. If I install that (the 1.' version), will I be able to update to 1.3.1 through the internet? Or in other words: will the license key I get in the 1.' box work for 1.3.1?

No problem! If you get a version 1.' and you register it. Updates won't ask for your licence key again. Also, there is an "automatically check for updates" option that iI think is on by default.

Forgot to say that you can also install two Mac versions or two PC version. The key here is TWO.

Did you REALLY (be honest) read all your license agreements.

Than take a look again at that from M$: you only bought a limited license. M$ make it very cear ... somewhere in all those pages.
