When I try to open Lightroom, the icon bounces and the dot underneath appears and then nothing. Help! Please advise!

Does the “dot” stay or go away? If it stays, then Lightroom is open but off the current desktop If it also goes away then Lightroom is failing.

Make sure that LrC v10.2 is installed. Then to further track down the error, rename the preferences file to force LrC to create a new clean one. If both of these actions do not resolve the issue, report back here and we can dig deeper.
