I had a C:\ drive problem and in fixing that I ended up with my Lightroom catalog and backups in a different location. As in what was in E:\ is now in D:\., what was in D:\ is now in E:\. Now, when I open Lightroom it looks something like this (below) and I get a message that says "No photos in selected Folder. Subfolders not shown." I tried linking (Apparently not correctly) and ended up with 2 copies of every photo file. I "undid" that.

My photos are in Lightroom Disk (M:) >Allens LR Photos and Not In Lightroom Disk (M > M:>Allens LR Photos. No photos are missing but there is one step too many Ms. I'm afraid of doing more damage if not done right. I don't know how to fix it Please help. AND Thank You>

Right-click on the M: folder and choose ‘Hide this parent’. Restart Lightroom Classic. The fact that ‘Allens LR Photos’ shows zero photos is most likely because you have ‘Library - Show Photos in Subfolders’ unchecked.
