Navigating the Library view just felt a bit sluggish for me today. I restarted LrC, no difference. Restarted my 2020 iMac, no difference. Optimized catalog, no difference. Then I suspected it was lag from my keyboard and sure enough, it was!! I directly connected my bluetooth keyboard to my iMac via lightning cable and the difference was night and day! IT WAS FLYING and smooth as butter going from image to image!! I went to bluetooth settings and disconnected it via Forget This Device option and re-paired the keyboard wirelessly and was able to maintain the high responsiveness. Did the same with my Magic Trackpad 2 and it also feels smoother. Overall, it feels like it got a free, massive upgrade to my iMac components. For good measure, I also maxed out the 'Key Repeat Rate' and 'Delay Until Repeat' in my keyboard settings. Hope this was of help to others!

I am not surprised... and well done for recognising the problem.

I have run into so many issues with wireless mice and keyboard that I only use wired connections now.

The obvious glitch for me was not recognising that the battery of the device was below the level of a stable connection. This always seemed to happen when I was most under pressure. Also, other unstable scenarios.

My most positive mouse experience was replacing my mouse, with a gaming mouse, which could be calibrated to the surface of my desk.

I recently went from an M1 iMac to an M2 Mac Studio. Many things are faster. Denoise takes 3-5 sec instead of 30. However I seem to notice a trackpad that is sluggish and at times non responsive. Also it seem the my battery is depleted sooner. I'm thinking the issue may be Sonoma related.
