Hi, I'm an enthusiastic beginner and was quite happy with the workflow I'd set up to sync photos from my desktop Lightroom Classic to Lightroom on my mobile. Any photos imported from my camera are saved in the parent folder 'Lightroom Photos' then by folder Year, Month, Date etc. Any photos I want to sync to my mobile, I add to a synced Collection and, hey presto, there they are on my mobile where I can view or edit. However, something odd has happened - recently, I must have done something and the entire contents of 'Lightroom Photos' are displayed on my mobile, even those that aren't in a Collection. My folders are relatively tidy but there are hundreds of photos in my parent folder I don't want on my mobile. Any new photos I add to ' Lightroom Photos' don't behave this way, they will only sync to my mobile if I add to a Collection but at the point where I did whatever caused this everything else has synced to 'All Photos' on my mobile and I'm not sure how to remove them. Hopefully, I've explained the issue clearly enough and would be very grateful if someone can advise how I get back to the point where only those photos in Collections are synced. As I said, I've not got lots of experience using Lightroom so apologies if this is incredibly straightforward and I'm just being daft! Thanks

In Lightroom Classic there is a special Collection in the Catalog panel Called “All Synched Photographs”. Any photo that you drag and drop there will also sync to the Adobe Cloud where all of your Lightroom Mobile app can access them. Perhaps you have intentionally or unintentionally added images to this special collection. Any images not in a Collection in the Collection panel will show up in Lightroom (All Photos) but not in a Lightroom Album.

Thank you so much for your advice and quick response. This seems to have been what's happened. I've made a Smart Collection to identify any photos not in a Collection and colour coded them so I could easily identify which ones to remove from 'All Synced Photos'. Not sure if this was the best way to go about it? Anyhow, problem solved - thanks again!
