Hi there I wonder if anyone can help me?
I am spending a couple of months in Scotland away from home and have downloaded Lightroom CC to my MacBook while my iMac at home has Lightroom Classic on it. I did not realise that when I upload photos onto my MacBook Lightroom CC app that they go straight to the cloud and now I have maxed out my 200gb cloud storage.
I have now just downloaded a version of Lightroom Classic to my MacBook (while my original version of Lightroom classic is still on my iMac at home) and wonder if there is a way to clean up my cloud storage by localising the files to my MacBook Lightroom Classic?
I am grateful for any suggestion?

Any images imported into any of the "cloud" apps, such as Lightroom Desktop (note, "CC" is no longer a part of the Adobe family of apps), will automatically download at full resolution to a Classic catalog which has been enabled to sync (only one catalog at a time can sync). So if you haven't enabled either of your 2 Classic catalogs to sync, doing that will see all the cloud images download into Classic (note also, set the download location in the Classic Preferences>Lightroom Sync tab before enabling sync). Once they have been downloaded, you can select them all in the All Synced Photographs collection in Classic's Catalog Panel, right-click and select "Remove from All Synced Photographs". That will delete all the selected images from the cloud, as well as removing them from that collection.

Thanks very much this has been a life saver! All sorted now and I am selecting which images to leave on the cloud for on the hoof editing later.
