I am expericening issues within lightroom. I import my RAW images into lightroom like I always and today I noticed that it started changing the images on me. images that were taken in SEPIA tone with my REBL XT. once imported all of the Sepia tones ones are being converted back to color. I also went to another folder to see if if would change images there and it did the same thing. (the images I tried 2nd were previously in lightroom and they were not changed b4 today.) Very frustrating to the least need to get these wedding images done and unable since they are being reverted back to color. What do I need to do? I don't think any settings were changed to make this happen.

Stephanie, Welcome to the Forums.

Perhaps the single most Frequently Asked Questions, ever.

First, read this: Lr ruined my pictures!

In your particular example, there's no such thing as a 'Sepia' raw image. You may be able to export a Sepia JPG from your camera, and you can probably convince the camera to put a sepia JPG preview in the raw file. But rest assured, the raw file has no color treatment applied. At best, the manufacturer's proprietary software, may be able to deal with certain settings selected incamera.

If you're under deadline, you should probably consider using Canon's DPP software. I don't actually know this, but I'm assuming it will understand such things as 'in-camera styles' settings in the raw file.

You could simply apply the "Sepia" Develop preset that comes with LR.
