Lightroom Catalogue Data Folder

During my update to Lightroom v 11, it was pointed out that there is an extra file called Lightroom Catalogue Data which should be incorporated into my back-up procedure. An ordinary Lightroom back up does not appear to incorporate this folder. It seems ridiculous to me that every time I do a Lightroom backup, I will have to manually copy this folder as well. Or am I missing something?

Mine gets backed up. Are you looking inside the zip file?

Does that folder exist inside your folder with the LRC catalogue? It might not until you create a mask.
