Lightroom Back-up failure

I am new here so this maybe an old issue.

I have been using Lightroom for some time now but for some reason some of my catalogues have lost their back-up location.

Is there a simple way of fixing this through preferences or maybe creating the file location.

Any help appreciated.

Hi shutter21, welcome to the forum!

This one catches loads of people out - when the dialog opens asking you to backup, that's where you set the location. You can access that dialog at any time by going into catalog preferences and setting the backup (at least temporarily) to 'Every time' and restarting Lightroom.

For some reason there is no folder backups created when the catalog was created hence the problem. Once I created the folder all is well. Not happened before so its a bit wierd.
