I just purchased the Samsung T22' monitor (come with the Magic Tune and Natural Color Pro calibration software). I've calibrated my monitor and everything looks fine, except for in Lightroom - my black and whites are a muddy yellow/brown

I double checked against my Canon software - Digital Photo Professional to make sure it wasn't an issue with my RAW files - when I edit in that program, my B/W look clean - so I don't think its an sRGB issue.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I have
-calibrated my red, green, blue
-set my lighting to daylight
-restarted my computer (several times)
-tried swearing and sweet talking my computer. :)

Thanks!

Welcome to Lightroom Forums!

Is the white portion of your histogram yellowish too? If so, your monitor profile is corrupt. Try profiling again.

If you don't have a hardware calibrator, you can try changing your monitor profile to sRGB as a test only. If everything looks more normal in Lightroom and LR matches other applications in this configuration, then that confirms that the problem was your monitor calibration. But don't leave it this way -- you need to create a proper monitor profile; it's incorrect to use a working profile as a monitor profile as we did for this test.

Thank you Mark - that wasn't exactly the problem, but did lead me to the solution. For some reason, the monitor profile (when I clicked on properties on the desktop) was only showing the T22' profile, and I had to add in the profile that I made when I calibrated. It didn't change the look of much else but did fix the lightroom problem. Whew!

Thanks again.

Canned profiles. like the T22' one, are often corupt and present this problem.

Glad you got it sorted!

I'm not sure what I've done, but its come undone again (luckily, I got my session edited before it came undone!)

It is a calibration issue, (tried the sRGB thing), but I'm not sure what's going on. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the MagicTune and Natural Color Pro several times, and have recallibrated until my eyes are blurry, but the profiles don't seem to be "taking".

I'm getting a message on launching Photoshop that I need to recallibrate because the NCP is not configured correctly. I've installed it from my disk, and from the website.

Any ideas?

thanks.

Absolutely the same thing here. Only I have SAMSUNG 2693HM monitor.
This is highly frustrating, if anybody finds a solution, please let me know, I’ll be mucho thankful.
