Hi all
To me this seems like a classic double profiling problem when I try to print out of LR 64 bit 2.5 or 2.6. The issue is as follows:
Running Windows 7 64 bit Pro
Dell 2''7 WFP Monitor calibrated using Eye-One Display 2
Trying to print to HPB918' using HP's Advanced Photo Glossy Paper
Using HP's canned paper profile
Selected Paper Porfile correctly in LR, checked that settings show the correct paper and Application Manages colours in the print driver - which is the latest one, designed for Win 7 64 bit
Resulting prints show a noticeable shift top magenta compared to what is on screen and what I was getting before under my old set up using XP Pro 32 bit.
Interestingly, using the same workflow with the 32 bit install of LR I also get magenta tinged prints. However, if I use CS4 and follow a parallel route to that outlined above, I get a perfectly acceptable print - within the limitations of matching to screen output.
Has anyone else had this issue, and if so how did you solve it..? I have done repeated searches on many fora and how so-far only found the same issue coming up but not a solution. Note the proposed solution on other sites was to use the 32 bit version of LR instead, but I have tried that and I stil;l get the same result.
Any help gratefully received.
