Lightroom 3 Release Date?

I've been using PE5.' for a while now and want to migrate to Lightroom. However, is it worth purchasing Lightroom 2 now or wait for Lightroom 3 to be released and if so, does anybody have a forecast date for launch?

What I can say is that the beta expires 3'th April, so it's likely to be before then.

I have an idea but not a certain date which probably does not help you much. You can rest assured that 3.1 will not be far behind.

The 3rd or 4th Tuesday in February around midnight EST.

This is an enlighted guess based on previous release dates.

either that or Beta II will be released
